Daniel Lavric
For 13 years, I have been in the Vox Domini church Timisoara service team, where I serve as a pastor with three other pastors. I coordinate the Department of Congregational Care and home groups. Since 2013, I have been the representative of the organisation Freedom in Christ International in Romania.
I am from a family of evangelical believers. I trusted in Christ at 17 and was baptised in 1987.
One defining moment was the discipleship course Colossians 2:7 (with the Navigators). I was addicted to gambling for 14 years. God showed me a lot of grace through the people who were with me. Through the work of Freedom in Christ, God has worked a lot on understanding the IDENTITY as a child of God, and I am also grateful for the ministry team of the church where I serve.
In our church, the European Leadership Forum is highly appreciated. I want to benefit from the experience of other leaders and work to be a more effective minister.
As a student, I was involved in the student movement: I organised and participated in student conferences in partnership with IFES. I worked in Open Hand Romania with drug addicts. I was an entrepreneur, and I ran a clothing production business.
We are a community that wants to be better servants for the fulfillment of Christ's plans, and we understand that we are servants together with others and share resources. We pursue the discipleship of people, not just their conversion.
