What is your ministry?

I’m involved in discipling and mentoring university-aged women within my local church body in Hungary. I’m still serving as a leader in the youth ministry, where I mentor the youth in my church and serve as their leader in several summer camps. In Jordan, I am serving with a ministry called SANADAK, where we serve local families in need of help, kids in orphanages, and kids with single parents in need.

When did you trust Christ?

I grew up in a Christian household, and I went to church and saw my parents serve the Lord. Seeing their love in their hearts and being in such a loving and God-honoring community drove me to want to meet Jesus personally and have a relationship with him, and that’s when I decided to follow Christ as a kid in Sunday school. Since then, every day, I have seen God’s hand in every little detail. I’m thankful to be able to call him my Father and to be able to serve him with all that I have in me.

What have been the defining moments of your Christian walk?

There are many defining moments in my walk with the Lord, going from seeing his hand in my life to seeing how He deals with situations around me. I wouldn’t say I have a huge one-time thing moment, but rather had many smaller moments, like when I was doing my university plans I had it on my heart to go abroad. Still, I never knew where or how to do that. God made it possible and had a turn of events; even when I thought I made wrong decisions, He made it all work for my good. Looking back at it now, I can say I saw His hand through every moment of my life in Hungary, and I can still see it now.

What do you hope to gain from participating?

I’m hoping to learn how to communicate the gospel and the gospel truth in a better way to different kinds of people and other age groups within my ministry. I deal with diverse cultures and backgrounds that need wisdom and guidance on how to approach the biblical truth. I want to show them biblical truth while also showing and reflecting God’s love in what I’m offering and how I’m guiding the people around me.

What is your leadership role or what were your past leadership roles?

In Hungary, I was part of a team that organised outreaches for university students with my local church, where we had events and hangouts to reach out to people. In Jordan, I taught the Bible to kids at church, and I was involved in several VBS (Vacation Bible School), where I led a group of almost 15 kids throughout the camp days. In Jordan, I served as a leader in the youth ministry, mentoring the youth in my church and was their leader in several summer camps.

Why should someone invest in your ministry?

The effect of this investment will reflect on the spiritual impact and growth of the people’s lives that I’m involved with, as well as building and sustaining this community. This, in turn, will again reflect on the future impact of the youth and young women I’m serving, as it will carry on for the people around them in the future and future generations in my local community in Pecs, Hungary. The more I learn apologetics, the more I can bring the people I serve closer to God. Also, I am meeting a lot of non-Christian university students and friends in Hungary who have a lot of questions, and I find myself in need of better apologetic training.
