Csilla Panczel
I was raised in a Christian home and decided to follow Jesus when I was 16. One evening I was in my room, and God convicted me about choosing a direction for my life. I decided to give Him authority over my life and to follow Him.
My dad and mom have had a significant impact on my life. They have constantly trusted God throughout my life, even in the most challenging times. For example, when my mom was diagnosed with an illness, both my parents trusted God and were loving and kind. My grandparents, who have been married for more than 65 years, have also been a great example of faith. God has also shown me how to work in a secular workplace, love people, and live out the Gospel.
I am so thankful for the Bible study method I learned from Anne Blaser - that was a game changer for me, and I teach that now to other believers. It's a pure joy to see more and more people gain success and enthusiasm when they start studying the Bible through this. Also, I learned so much about how to lead small groups with patience and care, paying close attention to the Holy Spirit and the people.
A year ago, I joined a missions organisation, IHS Global, which equips Christians with how to be witnesses for Jesus in healthcare and beyond. I am a Financial Coordinator there. I just recently joined the Discipling Ministry of our church. My main focus is on studying the Bible effectively and gaining as much personal message from it as possible. I am also mentoring a few women on a one-on-one basis.
I started as a volunteer at the foundation and led small groups for children in the camps. I later became a counselor for this organisation.
I believe God has called me to mentor other women and has been preparing me for this for years. I want to learn the biblical way of that. I do not wish to cause any harm to Christ's body but to serve it well, so I need to be trained by more mature leaders than me.
