Csilla Panczel
Csilla Pánczél is the Financial Coordinator for IHS Global, a ministry that equips Christians in healthcare in Hungary.
I was raised in a Christian home and decided to follow Jesus when I was 16. One evening, I was in my room, and God convicted me about choosing a direction for my life. I decided to give Him authority over my life and to follow Him.
My dad and mom have had a significant impact on my life. They have trusted God throughout my life, even in the most challenging times. For example, when my mom was diagnosed with an illness, my parents trusted God and were loving and kind. My grandparents, who have been married for over 65 years, have also been a great example of faith. God has also shown me how to work in a secular workplace, love people, and live out the Gospel.
The Forum has changed my attitude towards people and taught me how to lead groups. At my first YRM, Ann Blaser taught me a simple and deep Bible Study method, which was a game changer. I use that method very regularly when leading people in Bible study groups. At this next ELF, I hope to deepen my knowledge and skills.
I am a financial coordinator at IHS Global, which equips Christians to be witnesses for Jesus in healthcare and beyond. Additionally, I serve in our church's discipling ministry. I teach there once a week, using material from a book written by our pastor. My main focus is on studying the Bible effectively and gaining as much personal applications from it as possible.
I started as a volunteer at the foundation and led small groups for children in the camps. I later became a counsellor for this organisation.
I believe God has called me to mentor other women and has prepared me for this for years. I want to learn the biblical way of that. I do not wish to cause any harm to Christ's body, but to serve it well, I need to be trained by more mature leaders than me.
