Cristian Bulica is a staff member at Vox Domini Church in Romania.

When did you trust Christ?

I grew up in a community of believers and accepted Christ when I was about 16. Christ has been my foundation ever since, even when mocked for my faith. Those experiences just stirred my faith and solidified my decision to remain a believer in Christ.

What have been the defining moments of your Christian walk?

The exposure to the message of the Gospel in the church was the predominant cause of my journey to Christ. Also, my parents exemplified Christian faithfulness as they often helped others who were in need. As a student, I also had good examples of people who took the time to invest in my life, and that was a time of growing in knowledge and maturity in faith. Going through some Bible studies related to marriage, faith, apologetics, and relationships brought light to these areas and helped me to strengthen my faith. More recently, I was challenged to understand how to deal with situations and people who cause division in the church. This was a painful and undesired, yet fruitful, lesson for the future.

What do you hope to gain from participating?

After attending one of the seminars at ELF, I invited Paul Coulter to have a presentation in our city related to gender identity. I am returning to the Forum to experience another heaven-like fellowship, get more motivation, enlarge my vision, and continue my Year-Round Mentoring training with my mentors. As a result of attending ELF, I started a discipleship group in our church and became more committed to Christ as His servant. I want to return to revitalise my faith and explore new possibilities to present the Gospel to my friends. Also, I want to continue to learn how to be better involved in the civic area and understand the dangers of an apathetic church.

In YRM, I hope to get personalised guidance from experienced event planners, tailored to my context. I also would like to improve my organisational abilities to coordinate logistics with scheduling, have more effective communication, learn how to create meaningful and enriching experiences for all involved, and discover new methods for motivating new volunteers; all within the context of Christian values and principles. Beyond logistical expertise, as a mentee, I want to cultivate spiritual leadership qualities, fostering a deeper understanding of faith and community engagement. Ultimately, this mentorship equips individuals with the tools and confidence to create impactful Christian events that inspire and uplift.

What is your ministry?

Presently, I am a coordinator of a Bible study group in our church. We meet every other week to worship, pray, study the Bible, and have meals together. Also, I am part of the church committee and support our team, especially on administrative issues, church services, and other annual activities.

What is your leadership role or what were your past leadership roles?

I led a small discipleship group and a translator for our foreign visitors at the church.

Why should someone invest in your ministry?

I strongly desire a better understanding of my calling and spiritual gifts in this period of my life. I want others to walk alongside me as I better understand my calling.
