Cornel Bangean is a pastor in Romania.
When did you trust Christ?
I came to the Lord in the 10th grade at a Christian camp. At camp, I was exposed daily to the Gospel and challenged to follow Christ. On the last evening of the camp, after the sermon, I surrendered my life to God and He called me to serve Him.
What have been the defining moments of your Christian walk?
I had the opportunity to lead in a Christian school. Studying the Bible systemically grew my faith. Seeing the change in one of my roommate's life had a special impact on my life.
What do you hope to gain from participating?
I hope to become a better evangelist with the information I gather, and I hope to find motivation in this matter.
What is your ministry?
I am involved in preaching at my church. I also work with the youth department and provide counselling at this church.
What is your leadership role or what were your past leadership roles?
I have been a pastor for almost 20 years. For 13 years, I served a small community in the countryside. For many years now, I have served alongside two of my colleagues in ministry at Emanuel Baptist and have worked with youth at camps.
Why should someone invest in your ministry?
I do not have the funds to pay for the Forum. Since I work in a complex environment of camps, school, church, and conferences, this Forum would help me to serve the people in these ministries.
