Cintia Zsebe

Cintia Zsebe is the Hungarian Coordinator for Youth for Christ Hungary.
I was raised in a Christian family, and at the age of 12, I made my personal decision to follow Christ. I took part in a Hope Fest in Budapest, where Franklin Graham was talking about forgiveness and how God sets us clean through the blood of Jesus. I knew that that day God told me to repent, open my heart, and let Jesus step into my life. I understood that Christ is the way, the truth, and the life, and I can come to the Father only through Jesus.
My family, the people I was surrounded by, and the Church have impacted my Christian life. I saw good examples of Christians living their Christian life. Through my mother's faith, I was taught the basis of Christianity. The Christian upbringing and witnessing my parents and family members' passion towards God, their gratitude, and their prayers helped me grow closer to God.
I consider the Forum a good opportunity to grow in leadership areas. I expect that it will strengthen me in my calling as a leader and equip me with practical knowledge of how to lead a Christian organisation. I think the workshops, Networks, and exchanging ideas with like-minded people will be beneficial for me to see the Hungarian ministry within God's bigger picture.
Youth for Christ Hungary is undergoing a leadership change currently, and I am in the process of taking the directorial tasks over. My ministry includes coordinating the organisation along with another leader, representing our work domestically and abroad, and organisational development. I also have to be in contact with the headmasters of schools, orphanages, churches, and leaders of other institutions where we serve.
In Youth for Christ Hungary, I was a program coordinator, in charge of organising youth events in Hungary and leading volunteers. I was also part of my church's youth group leadership team.
I believe attending the Forum will be transformative for my leadership journey within the Youth for Christ Hungary and that I am responsible for learning and improving myself and making every effort to make this work more effective. It is a blessing that God allows me to do so. My income primarily depends on fundraising, and as a university student, I am unable to cover the expenses on my own. A scholarship will be a vital resource in helping me to participate.
