What is your ministry?
In our youth group, my role is to bring together all the tasks and topics we have to discuss in the leader meetings. I am one of the key people in the praying ministry and mentor program within our youth group. The discipleship school I previously attended has started a new "class" where I'm part of the staff. I serve in praying ministry, technical tasks, and anything required to run the course smoothly.
When did you trust Christ?
I was born into a Baptist family and always went to church on Sunday and Friday. I gave my life to Jesus at 13 years old but got a renewal at 20 years old when I met some people from my current church who led me to the life of a true disciple.
What have been the defining moments of your Christian walk?
At 20 years old, I was introduced to a group of people from another church. They invited me to a discipleship school, where I became filled with the Holy Spirit, started growing spiritually, got invited to prayer ministry and youth group leading, and got personal mentors helping and praying for me.
What do you hope to gain from participating?
My calling is to lead others in things I have been healed/delivered from through Jesus. I also take Jesus' words about discipling every nation and sharing the gospel. To pour God's oil into other people's lives, I also need to be poured into them. An empty vessel cannot be used.
What is your leadership role or what were your past leadership roles?
I led small groups at our Friday youth group meetings at a younger age. In the past few years, I have been part of the youth group leadership and organised the prayer ministry team for summer camps, prayer ministry courses, and other events.
Why should someone invest in your ministry?
Learning from other leaders from all over the world can always change my perspective on these ministries. I hope that from the teachings and possible small group connections, I will learn things I couldn't know from my circle of friends/ministry partners.
