What is your ministry?

I'm part of a church leadership team as one of the elders. I'm teaching regularly and function as a shepherd and disciple-maker. The ministry I serve with, Evangelical Poland, aims to unite Evangelical Christians in Poland so they can work better together to reach our country with the gospel. I am an IT and media specialist, designing websites and graphics and editing videos.

When did you trust Christ?

My life before meeting Christ was pretty average, but for a long time, I felt lost, and there was no meaning to my life. When my devoutly Catholic roommate suddenly started to attend a Baptist church and was reading the Bible every day, I agreed to visit the church with him, and from my first visit, I experienced something I never had before. Every sermon seemed like it was just for me for several weeks. I started to read the Bible, attend Bible groups, get to know many Christian students, and decided I wanted to be baptised that same year. Just a few days before my baptism, I finally realised how much of a sinner I was, that I needed salvation, and that Jesus was the only way to have that. I don't remember when it happened, but it was in 2011.

What have been the defining moments of your Christian walk?

Shortly after my baptism, I was asked to help with a new ministry in my Church called Academic Bible Meetings. The more experienced Christians involved in this ministry helped me immensely, showing me that every Christian should somehow serve God and his Church. After a few months, I started to lead a Bible study group occasionally, but I began to teach it every week after a few months. This experience helped me immensely; it required me to prepare every week, read commentaries, be aware of the historical and scriptural context, and taught me how to lead. I think this was the thing that helped me and defined me the most in my journey with God. I used to dream of serving God "full time," I know I'm much better prepared if that is what God has planned for me. I learned much about trusting God and his long-term plans for us from this experience.

What do you hope to gain from participating?

I'm looking forward to learning and getting inspired by listening and talking to other Christian leaders who function in similar environments. I am convinced that meeting and getting to know other leaders from my country and region can result in new and exciting opportunities to serve God together (as has happened many times before).

What is your leadership role or what were your past leadership roles?

My past leadership roles include leading a Bible study group, being responsible for organising Sunday church meetings, leading weekly meetings of the English Club, preaching at our Sunday meetings, helping with Sunday school for kids, and leading a discipleship group.

Why should someone invest in your ministry?

Since starting my journey with God, I have felt a great need to serve in as many ways as possible. And that need is getting stronger each day. I am trying to grow in Christ in every way possible, and sometimes, I can hardly believe how much God has changed me in the last two years. I'm learning to trust Him more every day, and I'm more confident that His plan for my life is the best and far superior to my plans. I want to give my life to Christ and serve him with every fiber of my being.
