Barnábas Kapitány

Barnábas Kapitány is the Head of Logistics at 4M Hungary.
I grew up in a Christian family, attending Sunday school and youth group ministry. As a young adult, I was going through a pretty wild phase. Then, in 2006, during a youth mission event, I realised what a sinful life I was living and surrendered myself to God.
The most defining moment of my life was losing my wife to a sudden illness recently. I was devastated and could not understand how this could happen to us. I was disappointed in God because we believed He could heal my wife. When I was most broken, the Holy Spirit touched me and everything changed completely. I have felt His presence in my life and His transforming power ever since.
I am currently a leader in several organisations. It is important for me to always grow in my leadership skills, in my service to God, and to deepen my faith. I am studying leadership skills, and am confident that the Forum can help me develop these skills.
As an employee of 4M Hungary, I am responsible for the provision of logistical equipment and tools for the given mission events. I participate in the execution of the events, lead the people serving alongside me, and develop and manage the leadership team assigned to me.
I am a company director in my own business, vice-president of several advocacy and professional organisations, and a trustee of the Mentés Másként Alapítvány (Save As Foundation).
I want to make an impact on people in the next generation, so I am developing my Christian leadership skills through studies at Pentecostal Theology College. I believe the Forum can help me to move forward in doing God's work with more awareness and dedication. Interest and investment in my ministry will allow me to support my friends and continue to do God’s work in my country. I want to learn more about Christian organisation leadership.
