What is your ministry?
At present, I am responsible for overseeing and providing direction to the Evangelical Alliance National Youth Commission in eight countries of Asia. I am also involved in teaching and training young missionaries to reach the contemporary youth.
When did you trust Christ?
I was born into a Christian family, but I never had a good relationship with my father. My mother was not a religious woman, but my father was a nominal Christian, alcoholic, and drug addict. In one of the youth meetings, I was sitting blankly when God whispered in my ears that He needed me thrice. That very day, I committed my life to God. After that, He forgave my sins, and I experienced the joy of salvation. It's been more than fifteen years, and the Lord is still working on me and is using me to extend His kingdom.
What have been the defining moments of your Christian walk?
In the initial days of my ministry when I was serving in my hometown, I was convinced that the Lord was calling me and my wife for Urban missions. After much prayer, we moved to Mumbai. Here the Lord favoured us; we could disciple and impact many young people. From Mumbai, we moved to Bangalore to pursue an M.Div. Upon completing my studies, I was offered a small associate coordinator position for the urban youth ministry at the Evangelical Fellowship of India. Soon, I was given the responsibility of being assistant secretary of the National Youth Commission. Then, I was promoted to the Associate Director of the National Youth Commission. After a few months, I became the National Director of the National Youth Commission at Evangelical Fellowship of India. EFI is a charter member of the World Evangelical Alliance.
What do you hope to gain from participating?
This will help me understand what is happening in other parts of the world regarding mission work and how we can best collaborate and work together. I am also looking forward to connecting with like-minded and like-hearted leaders from around the world.
What is your leadership role or what were your past leadership roles?
My past leadership roles were: National Director at Evangelical Fellowship of India Youth Commission, Executive Director at Asian Evangelical Alliance Youth Commission, serving as a Steering Committee Member of Arise Asia, National Director at Word of Life India, and Executive Director at Gen Now Youth Organisation.
Why should someone invest in your ministry?
I am passionate about reaching my generation and the generation to come. I am a young leader by God's grace who has been placed in a strategic leadership role in Asia. Hence, I need senior leaders to invest in me to strengthen my ongoing ministry and prepare me to serve more effectively in the coming days. I come from a country and a region that needs the gospel and more committed leaders. Your investment in me will undoubtedly enable me to be more effective in my mission field.
