Artsiom Adamenka
Currently, I'm the head of the Belarusian Christian Medical Society. I aim to help my Christian colleagues, who are medical doctors and students, serve God at their workplaces and help and support one another. Our national team of leaders organise national and regional conferences, seminars, training, and prayer meetings.
I'm from a non-Christian family. As a teenager, I started attending a Sunday school at the Baptist church. Lord touched my heart through His word, and I decided to follow Him.
First of all, I praise God for the pastors of my church. They are dedicated servants of God, and I see Jesus in their lives for many years. Also, as a medical student, God gave me an excellent opportunity to visit the British Christian Medical Society National Student Conference. It was about 20 years ago, but I continue to serve God through Christian medical organisations in my country. It was a life-changing experience that gave me a vision for my life.
I have heard good things about it: spiritual encouragement, networking, fresh vision, and new ideas.
I was one of the youth leaders at my local church.
I'm working with medical professionals who are working with a vast amount of people at the most challenging times of their lives. I believe that healthcare is a critical field where Christian doctors and nurses can serve Christ through their professional and personal beliefs.
