What is your ministry?

My wife and I are serving with Word of Life Poland. We are helping to run the Bible Club program and adapting the material to the Lithuanian context. Our main goal is to be equipped and prepared to run Bible Clubs in Lithuania.

When did you trust Christ?

I did not grow up in a Christian home. Yet, my parents signed me up for an English Christian summer camp where I heard the Good News. I repented of my sins and turned to follow Christ as my new Lord and Saviour.

What have been the defining moments of your Christian walk?

I had several defining moments of my faith. The first was in 2016, when I accepted Christ as my Lord and Saviour. Then between 2016-2018, an older guy was discipling me personally in my Christian faith; it helped me form solid foundations and shift from an atheistic worldview to a Christian one. From 2020-2022, I married my wife Gabrielė, and we both went to the Word of Life Bible Institute (BI) in Hungary for two years. In 2023, after BI, we realised our calling to become youth missionaries in Lithuania. We are taking a preparatory year in Poland, after which we will start a new branch of the WOL ministry in Lithuania.

What do you hope to gain from participating?

AT YRM, I expect to find a community going through similar challenges and who could share their ideas and thoughts on how they solved some of the issues. Learn new methods to disciple and reach the current generation of teens for Christ. I also expect to meet people from different denominations and mission organizations who could share some practices they found helpful in their ministries. I hope that the reading material assigned for the group will help me to broaden my horizons in the field of ministry and leadership. I also expect a community for prayer.

During last year’s Forum, I formed more connections with other key pastors and leaders in Lithuania. I was very much encouraged to continue doing the youth ministry. I have joined to learn more about youth ministry from other people. I want to return because I saw the tremendous benefits of attending the event and joining the movement of leaders. It gave me good personal insights into my ministry through the networks, and I was able to form connections and even friendships. Also, a great break-away from ministry filled me up to serve more passionately.

What is your leadership role or what were your past leadership roles?

I did not have many past leadership positions besides serving in my local church as one of the helpers in a Bible club and helping organise evangelistic camps for teens.

Why should someone invest in your ministry?

There are a few missionaries for youth in Lithuania who would organise programs and help their development in local churches. As a result, young people lack discipleship, and Lithuanian evangelical churches are losing their youth to the world. But now God has opened doors for us to start a small network of Bible Clubs that would disciple and evangelise the teens in Lithuania.
