Anja Kranjc works with children at her church in Slovenia.

When did you trust Christ?

I grew up in a Christian family, but finally accepted Christ into my heart at a children's camp. It was the first time I truly understood God's love and greatness and felt His incredible presence. I have walked with and trusted the Lord since then. I am looking for His will in every situation and trying to trust Him in good and challenging times.

What have been the defining moments of your Christian walk?

The first defining moment was at the children's camp where I accepted Jesus as my saviour. Other defining moments have come through different difficult situations. During these situations, I have learned how to fully trust God, that He is with me no matter what happens, and that His will and plans are best. Another important time was when I was a university student. During school, I became more involved in serving in our church. I began to help in Sunday school as a teacher and became very active in our youth group.

What do you hope to gain from participating?

I want to learn new things from people who serve God with all their hearts and are greatly used by God. I also want to experience God in new ways, learn about what He has next for me, and learn how to better serve in ministry in our country. The Forum has helped me understand people more and help them from a Christian perspective. The Forum also gives me a lot of opportunities to meet extraordinary leaders, who are great examples, and I can really learn a lot from them.

What is your ministry?

My ministry in the church involves working with children, teenagers, and youth. I teach Sunday school to children. I also have personal conversations with them when needed. In addition, every year, I serve in summer camps for children. I also help lead a youth group in the church and prepare lectures for youth groups and meetings (on Zoom and in person). I am part of the worship team in our church.

What is your leadership role or what were your past leadership roles?

I have served at youth camps and worked with children in my church.

Why should someone invest in your ministry?

I have learned a lot of new things at the Forum, especially when helping people with their problems. For example, I now understand emotions from a Christian perspective and how Jesus sees our feelings, not just in a typical psychological way. This helps me better understand our children's emotions in church, and it is easier for me to help them when they have problems.
