Steiger International is active in over 150 cities around the globe. It bridges the gap between the Church and the Global Youth Culture by establishing Steiger City Teams. A Steiger City Team mobilises followers of Jesus to reach young people who would not otherwise walk into a church. It is a powerful catalytic force that can unify and mobilise the Church to transform an entire city.
It was 15 years ago. I was in a terrible state in my life, and someone invited me to a prayer meeting. I've never had an experience like that before. While three girls were praying for me, I pictured myself driving straight off a mountain cliff, and I was going to die. Then I saw a man sitting next to me, and He said, " You don't have to die. I can drive for you". One girl asked me if I wanted to give my life to Jesus.
I didn't know what it meant but said, "YES." From this time, the whole amazing experience with Jesus started for me.
I was a part of the youth church and a creative evangelistic ministry where I could be involved and use my gifts with great mentors around me. I lived with some Christian girls in the community house where I could grow spiritually. I became involved in different mission trips serving God with my film and evangelistic projects.
I will be learning, networking, and supporting my team who is coming to the ELF for the first time. Since I started attending ELF, I have become a more confident and strategic leader; also, I have seen my team grow in equipping and empowerment. We have become dynamic leaders.
I lead a cinema for the Slot Art Festival with an evangelistic discussion afterward. I organised different events around the year and during festivals. Together with my husband, I ran an evangelistic youth cafe in England. In Brazil, we lead an evangelistic band. I have been helping in developing Steiger Brazil and Poland for the last
eight years. I was part of a leadership team at Steiger Mission School for five years. I was responsible for evangelism. I started a project called Sfera (mobile tent) with different evangelistic projects.
I would love to learn more from European leaders on how to lead an international or local team to work together in ministry and be an excellent spiritual leader for them. I would love to connect more with media-experienced people to know how to powerfully use it for the Kingdom of God.
