When did you trust Christ?

I was born into a practicing Christian family, but at the age of 14, I realised that I could not rely on my parent's faith. Either I experience and know this God personally, or this is just fake religion. By God's grace and through the example of other Christians who knew and loved God, I asked Him to forgive my sins and make me His child. It was in January 2000. I got baptised in July 2002. This is the short story in detail. There are other important stages in my testimony that followed the baptism. And God still has work to do for me. I thank Him and am humbled that He is willing to do it.

What have been the defining moments of your Christian walk?

I attended a Bible study group for 10 years. I was greatly impacted by Jubilate Summer courses and conducting courses in Romania. I had some wonderful Christian friends who also impacted my life through their lives and advice. Books, especially Christian biographies, have also had a large impact on me.

What do you hope to gain from participating?

I want to get a better focus on God’s call and the way He wants me to follow Him and to love Him and His church.

In YRM, I hope to gain more clarity about the calling for me to do what I do in the following years. I hope to learn from the experience other leaders achieved so far and to be encouraged by that. I also hope to understand the goals we should pursue as Christians in our business. I hope to encourage other leaders and my experience to be a blessing to the group. I hope to find creative ways to deal with leaders' common problems in their activities.

What is your ministry?

I am involved in the management of the pharmacy where I work. I am also involved in the church's music department, conducting the choir together with two brothers. I also lead a small prayer group: we pray for the youth ministry in the church, and we find this to be a blessing for us. It makes us feel more connected with the ministry, and we see God answering prayers and directing this ministry. Our church is in a small village in Romania. Again, leadership is not what I thought for my life, but God gave me the call to serve Him in different areas for a while, so serving is closer to my heart than leadership.

What is your leadership role or what were your past leadership roles?

I am conducting the choir in the church and I am a pharmacy administrator in my town.

Why should someone invest in your ministry?

A leader needs to stay in contact with other people in order to learn continually. As I continue to serve in the church, I should continue to learn.
