Aliaksandr Silchuk
I am a youth pastor and music director at my church.
I was born into a Christian family but personally surrendered to Jesus Christ and was baptised at the age of 19.
I had many stressful situations during my studies, and the Lord helped me every time, but I was not faithful to Him. But the Holy Spirit touched my heart one day, and everything changed for me.
I expect to be inspired, receive and share my experiences, and maybe learn something new for my ministry.
As a student, I led the wind instruments group in a symphony orchestra. From that time to this day, I have been the music director in my church. From 2007 to 2013, I worked as a sales director at Jethrocom LLC, which was engaged in the wholesale trade of concert equipment.
Belarus is now in a unique position, on the verge of a huge breakdown. Once upon a time, Belarus was one of the centers of a powerful Evangelical movement in Europe. The Holy Spirit was authoring a strong awakening in Belarus. Despite strong migration, the church is only growing; we are building new buildings and expanding our borders despite resistance. I know that if God begins his work, he always finishes it. With or without us, He will get the job done. The mainstream of sponsors now is in Ukraine, but we need material resources more than ever. We are in a financial blockade.
