Aliaksandr Khomich
I work with young people. I organise summer camps for youth and teens. Also, I lead a group for reading the Bible. I am part of a team.
When I was 12 years old, I started reading the Bible in the evenings. After that, God moved in my heart, and I surrendered my life to Jesus. After that, I encountered many difficult situations, and I was baptised at 16 years old.
Some of the defining moments have been recent. A few days ago, my father passed away. He followed Jesus for years, but then he left the church. Despite this, I still believe and hope we will meet each other in heaven one day. Also, a few years ago, my sister got a severe disease, and she was also close to death, and even the doctors were saying that she was going to die. But I had faith that He would heal her and do a miracle – she is alive, healthy, and following Jesus.
I expect to be inspired, receive and share my experiences, and maybe learn something new for my ministry.
I am a youth leader in my church.
I serve in a small town of about 15,000 people. And actually, this is my passion to stay here and continue to serve. Most young people are leaving the country.
