Agron Zefi

Agron Zefi is an elder in his local church in Albania.
I converted to Christianity in 1996 when I was a teenager. I was invited to attend a Christian conference, and the preacher talked about how awful sin is to God. It was as if the whole message was meant for me because I was such a sinner. Afterwards, God showed me from His Word that Jesus' sacrifice on the cross was the only way to be forgiven and receive spiritual rebirth. I bowed my head and accepted in prayer that I was a sinner and that I was worthy of God's eternal wrath. I accepted that Christ took my place and asked Him to be my Saviour. I asked Him to forgive me and to give me a new life as He promised in His Word.
There have been many specific people and moments that have defined my progress as a Christian. These include reading my Bible, long and deep discipleship meetings with my pastor, attending two years of a theological school, preaching in my church, and participating in the youth ministry in my church.
It is a special blessing to participate in the Forum. I benefit from the preaching and teaching tools and techniques I learn there. Through these experiences, I hope to be better equipped for my ministry. By being part of the Forum, I am also renewed spiritually, more motivated for the work ahead, inspired by the Word of God, and receive new energy for my ministry journey.
I am involved in different ministries. I serve as an elder in my church. I also teach the Bible, mentor, disciple, and encourage. Lastly, I serve with Afghan refugees in Shengjin, Albania.
I have led children's and youth ministries in my church for several years, as well as worship. This has been a period of transformation.
I am a person who wants to serve and bless others in the same way that I have been blessed. I am teachable, humble, and faithful to my teachers and my Lord.
