“In these days he went out to the mountain to pray, and all night he continued in prayer to God. And when day came, he called his disciples and chose from them twelve, whom he named apostles. And he came down with them and stood on a level place, with a great crowd... who came to hear him and to be healed of their diseases.” (Luke 6:12-19, ESV)
Jesus modelled a rhythm of discipleship—Up (worship and devotion), In (intentional community and discipleship), and Out (mission and mercy). This session explores how these rhythms shaped Jesus’ ministry and were carried into the early church (Acts 2:42-47). As disciples, we must first cultivate these rhythms in our own lives so that we can encourage and model them for those around us. Through reflection and practical exercises, we will assess our own discipleship patterns, identifying areas for realignment and growth.
