Zoran Kavedzic
Zoran Kavedzic is a Christian counsellor in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
I decided to follow Jesus in 2002 based on long-term relations with Christian friends and missionaries, who I met throughout numerous projects that aimed to serve the poor and needy.
My mentor, Donald Prokop, discipled me from 2000 until 2006. That experience redefined and intensified my walk with Jesus. Working with the poor made me realize how limited my resources were to meet their needs and how great the Lord is—He understands every person's needs.
Learning from and getting to know Network leaders and attendees has personally encouraged me. After attending the Forum in the past, I used some principles and tools in my ministry, which extended and improved the dynamics of the overall ministry. I hope to learn more and form friendships with other counsellors.
My ministry reaches the multiethnic community through psychology, evangelism, and discipleship. I offer group and individual counselling, and I help lead workshops. Additionally, I help coordinate preaching and worship events in my local church. Lastly, I integrate dance and therapy.
In the past, I have been a church leader and a regional coordinator for an international and local NGO.
I see a need to keep improving my skills in Christian counselling since the need for counselling is growing in my city.
