Yao Mawueno Dansou
I make disciples and build leaders among medical doctors and students in Africa.
In August 1996, after a Bible study and a radio broadcast message on salvation, I decided in my bedroom to give my life to Jesus.
My first step in faith was led by a man called William, who led a Bible study in my church. He took me as a son and exposed me to LLB (Bible Reading League). Then, from 2000-2006, a fellowship at the University called “Youth in Jesus” helped me grow as a disciple. I met a missionary named Chimezié Onyebilamna, who became my spiritual mentor. He exposed me to cross-cultural missions and gave me a heart for missions. Through conferences and mission activities, I discerned my specific call. In 2008, I started my national Christian Medical Fellowship. Then, I joined ICMDA in 2011 and became an Area Representative for Africa in 2015 and regional secretary for Africa in 2020.
It will give me more skills in leadership, better efficiency, and better discipline. The people I meet will enlarge my perspective and shape my character. I look forward to connecting with good leaders.
At CFM Togo, I pioneered and led discipleship and training. At FORGIM, I was the founder, trainer of couples for marriage and family life and counsellor for couples. At ICMDA, I am working to start new movements across Africa and strengthen existing movements through discipleship, leadership training, and coaching.
I can help students, doctors, and dentists become disciples and leaders in their workplaces. I am passionate about raising the next generation to change their World for the Kingdom of Christ. I work with 22 countries in Africa.
