Tamas Mezei

Tamás Mezei is the Advancement Coordinator at Word of Life Hungary.
I trusted in Christ when I was 14. I was at a Christian camp, and during an evening message, I understood that life itself is meaningless unless there is a God in whom we have restoration and eternal life.
Some defining moments include: being discipled as a young believer by a couple at my church, listening to a sermon series by John Piper titled 'When I Don't Desire God', and having been through some deep valleys that gave me the opportunity to have nothing else to hold on to other than God.
The Forum is a great opportunity to learn and build valuable relationships. I need to grow in my knowledge of how to serve and develop my team more effectively. I expect to be like a sponge in the ocean of leadership and wisdom.
I am currently the Advancement Coordinator at Word of Life Hungary, responsible for advancing our network and corporate fundraising. I also coordinate the outreach ministries of our organisations.
I have been a youth pastor for 5 years, a senior pastor for 2 years, a local church and outreach ministry leader for 5 years, and a Bible school director. I was previously the acting director of the Word of Life Bible School while also coordinating the outreach ministries of our organisations.
I humbly want to learn from others and re-invest myself into training and discipling the generation after me.
