Per Ewert is a scholar and the Director of the Clapham Institute in Sweden.
I have followed Christ my whole life, but I've come to trust him more and more by seeing his hand through hardships in life.
One defining moment was when I felt the calling to go into writing and apologetics, where I have served now for almost 20 years. Another was when other doors closed to me, and I could step into leadership at the Clapham Institute and also into deepened scholarship on secularization processes.
Much is about inspiration and networking, which strengthens my work back home. It's quite a unique hub of teaching, networking, and inspiration for an Evangelical leader in Europe.
I lead the Clapham Institute. I'm also a scholar with a PhD on secularization and related topics. I also write articles and books, the last one is "The Masterpiece", about the Bible as the greatest piece of literature in human history
I have led the Clapham Institute since 2016, plus several informal leadership roles in the evangelical movement in Sweden, right now I am also the top candidate in my diocese for the election to the General Synod of the Lutheran Church of Sweden.
I am a national leader with a big impact in the world's arguably most secular nation. I have also co-led the Academic Network at the European Leadership Forum for the last two years.
