What is your ministry?
I am currently actively participating in leading the “Woman Leader & Woman Entrepreneur” project with the support of the Temps i Compromis Foundation, a Christian organisation. ML&ME is a project that was born from the vision that God gave me to reach this profile of women through events in different countries. Additionally, I direct and organise all events related to Mercy Ships when the ship is docked in Tenerife. Among these events are breakfasts for pastors and leaders from all the Canary Islands, meetings with businessmen and political leaders to publicize the work of this Christian NGO. Additionally, I manage guided tours of the ship, the largest hospital ship in operation.
When did you trust Christ?
When I was 16 years old and after the death of my father, I had the opportunity and blessing to meet Jesus through some aunts who told me about the love of God. I started to experience incredible peace and start living a purposeful life.
What have been the defining moments of your Christian walk?
Psalm 23 impacted my life. Each phrase of this Psalm led me to understand God's love and care more clearly and strongly, and this brought a boost to my walk with God. Also, meeting missionaries, pastors, and worshipers inspired me to continue growing.
What do you hope to gain from participating?
The Forum is a unique opportunity to be equipped with good tools to continue in our calling. It represents a unique opportunity to connect with other like-minded brothers in the faith. I want to be inspired and challenged to do more for the Lord.
I expect YRM to expand my understanding of God's plans for my life and strengthen my spiritual journey. I anticipate developing proficiency in event organisation, particularly in assessment and implementing enhancements. I will forge meaningful relationships with other faithful individuals passionate about event planning. I will embrace opportunities to learn, refine skills, and experience personal growth throughout the journey. I will better understand the event's impact and what actions can be implemented to improve and continue a project.
What is your leadership role or what were your past leadership roles?
I went with my husband and youth leaders from our church in Santa Cruz de La Palma in the Canary Islands to lead a TV program in Tenerife to publicise Christian literature and music, together with the Christian Mission Church in Tenerife. In Barcelona Spain, I was serving with the Hillsong Church welcome team. I have served in every city where I have lived!
Why should someone invest in your ministry?
Since I met God, my desire to please him and serve him is immense. The fear of not doing the right thing and not doing his will is very present in my life. I have never asked for any scholarship to train but since I do not have the financial resources at this time, I have taken the option of applying and praying for this. This Forum is an opportunity to continue growing, to have a clearer perspective, and to move forward with the dream that God gave me that more women entrepreneurs know about him and help establish correct priorities, empowering them in the way that God has created them and giving value to their families.
