Kristjan Kalinov is a pastor in Macedonia.

When did you trust Christ?

A series of events led to it. It culminated when I was 18, and a friend of mine shared his recent experience of deciding to give his life to Jesus. In that conversation, I knew that I had been searching for this, but I didn't find it. He found me.

What have been the defining moments of your Christian walk?

Many people, living and dead, have impacted my life. However, the person who has made the most profound impact on my life, outside of the New Testament saints, is Dallas Willard. His vision of discipleship, his teaching on the role of the spiritual Disciplines in human transformation, and several other teachings/concepts have helped me change my life and gave me a new paradigm for the ministry.

What do you hope to gain from participating?

I hope to meet fellow Kingdom workers whose stories and experiences will help me see further and more profoundly than what I see now. I hope to hear teachings and stories that will give me insight into life with God and ministry that I have not attained yet. In all of that, I hope to hear God's voice and His guidance.

What is your ministry?

As a pastor, my main job is to care for our two-tier leadership teams and their spiritual lives and to oversee their work in and through our church. My other primary role is setting up the year's teaching curriculum.

What is your leadership role or what were your past leadership roles?

I've been part of my church's pastoral team for 13 years, and I've been serving as senior pastor for the past 5 years.

Why should someone invest in your ministry?

We are trying to obey Jesus in our lives and work. We think He has done something significant in our city over the last decade. Other people's input might help us better understand our position and respond to what God is doing in our city and our country.
