Irfan Anwar

Irfan Anwar is a surgeon from Pakistan serving in Leeds, England.
Before I converted to faith in Christ in 2006, I was a regular member of a local church in Pakistan. My conversion was a slow process that happened through my study of God's Word.
I attended a conference on Finishing the Great Commission in 2007/ 2008 in my local church in Pakistan. This conference opened my eyes to the world of missions and evangelism.
I hope to gain spiritual growth, networking, and learning from top Christian leaders.
I serve at Leeds Teaching Hospital in Leeds and at Leeds General Infirmary as an orthopedic/spinal surgeon. I am also involved in CMF (Christian Medical Fellowship) and a local church in Pakistan as well as in Leeds. We focus on evangelism and missions to reach interior Sindh and Afghan immigrants in Pakistan, as well as Muslim and Hindu communities. I also help with social development in the local Christian community, the Hindu community in Sindh, and the Afghan community in Pakistan.
I was the General Secretary of Christian Medical Fellowship Pakistan.
I am interested in missions everywhere and believe God is on the move in the subcontinent, the Middle East, and around the world. God has blessed me with His heavenly vision and contacts to reach out to the lost and disciple and train young men of God.
