Hamado Sawadogo

Hamado Sawadogo is a family physician and medical instructor in Burkina Faso and a regional representative and trainer for ICMDA Africa Francophone.
After my parents gave their lives to Jesus Christ, their children no longer died, and my father was healed of sickness. I was their first child who did not die. What a miracle! When I was around 15 years old, I gave my life to Jesus and got baptised.
When I was 20, I experienced the loss of my father, one of the most challenging moments of my life. As the eldest child, I was discouraged from continuing my studies. I sought guidance and strength from God, and through prayer and my mother's encouragement, I decided to continue my studies. This turning point in my life taught me to trust God, even in the darkest seasons.
The Forum offers a unique environment for deepening faith and integrating spirituality and professionalism. I hope to enhance my leadership skills in healthcare and faith-based communities, benefit from networking opportunities, and be spiritually and professionally renewed.
As Regional Representative and Trainer for ICMDA Africa Francophone, I equip healthcare professionals to integrate their faith and practice. As a family physician and Academic Coordinator for I-PGDFM, I am dedicated to fostering excellence in medical education and faith-centered care.
As a Regional Representative of ICMDA, I worked to strengthen healthcare professional networks and support their spiritual and professional development. I coordinated bioethics training sessions as Training Track Coordinator for Bioethics in ICMDA Africa Francophone. As Saline Process Trainer for ICMDA Africa Francophone, I helped equip healthcare professionals to integrate their faith into their practice effectively. As Academic Coordinator for I-PGDFM, I managed the academic program for post-graduate family medicine students.
Through my ministries in ICMDA and medical education, integrating faith with professional excellence, I can influence healthcare professionals and students, multiplying their impact across Francophone Africa and beyond. Supporting my leadership training will foster Kingdom growth, expanding faith-based healthcare in underserved regions.
