At the moment, I do the layout of the Lithuanian New Testament. Also, I make fine art exhibitions at Vilnius Evangelical church and Vilnius TECH University. I am also one of the prayer leaders in our church.
I trusted Christ at a prayer meeting in 1989. I doubted the existence of God. Someone advised me to "try" to believe in God. So, I decided to try it. I prayed, and soon, God proved to me that He exists in two ways. First, joy came to my heart. Second, I was able to survive a nerve crisis without medicine, and I was healed. I have followed Jesus since that time.
First, my friend prayed that God would "shake" me and that I would decide to devote my life to God. It happened, and I understood that I would perish without the church. Another one was later when I was a full-time minister already. I was sick with TB, and there was a moment when all life since I became a Christian went through my eyes in a moment. And God asked me what I could bring to Him. I suggested all my work as a minister. He answered there is your job as any other job. And I acknowledged that I can bring to Him nothing. Since then, I have understood that serving Him can also be an idol. And all I want is to remain in Him.
During the last Forum I attended, I was encouraged to use Christian media to achieve better results in a ministry. Also, I got some friends to start international projects, such as fine art exhibitions. I want to return because I hope God can use my attendance at the Forum to advance His goals.
I have worked as a full-time minister in our church since 1992 as a designer. We printed the first Lithuanian Bible in the modern language, over 100 books, newspapers for 25 years, magazines, etc. I had a home prayer group for 25 years. Now, I am one of two prayer leaders of our church.
There aren't many Christian artists who can impact Lithuania through various kinds of culture. Even in churches, we still need to acknowledge the importance of culture in bringing a message to the world.
