Edina Kasza

Edina Kasza is a coordinator for Youth Builders Foundation in Hungary.
When I was 9 years old, I attended a Christian camp and was told about Jesus. In the following years, I heard more about Jesus and realised that I loved Him. I did not know how to follow Him yet, but I saw people being baptised and heard their testimonies. Faith in Jesus was born in me. I wanted to follow Him, not just in words but to confess before others that He died for and redeemed me. At the age of 13, I declared Jesus as my Saviour and was baptized.
When I was 17 years old, I had multiple conversations with and prayed with counsellors who helped me forgive others and love myself. Another defining moment was when I started learning pastoral care alongside a mature person of faith. Several years ago, I began working as a full-time minister and led a youth group in my congregation. I am learning how to walk in faith and live a generous life.
I look forward to networking with other Christians, renewing my Christian life, and growth in faith and disciple-making.
For several years, I have been serving in pastoral care with the Hungarian Baptist youth mission. I have also been coordinating a Christian Youth Leader Training Conference. I recruit and lead volunteers who help organise the conference. I have begun to lead the youth leader team in my church, mentoring several girls from the youth group.
For several years in my church, I led creative decoration tasks. I conducted craft activities at a children's camp and led small group meetings. I have helped with camps for teens through the Youth For Christ Ministry.
I work as a full-time minister, and cannot afford to pay the full Forum fee. I serve youth leaders and hope to pass on the experiences I gain at the Forum to them.
