WHO

The Forum Volunteer Team is open to committed evangelical believers from across the United States and Europe who have a desire to serve. We welcome volunteers of all ages, as long as they are in good health and able to keep up with the busy Forum schedule. Over the years our volunteers have ranged in age from 18 to 80.

As an ELF volunteer, you’ll facilitate the administrative logistics to create a warm, encouraging environment for Europe’s Christian leaders, so that they can experience God’s global community, grow spiritually, and receive teaching that will help advance their ministries.

If you feel called to short-term mission work but hesitate at the thought of the manual labor and the challenging conditions of traditional mission trips, the Forum may be the perfect opportunity for you!

WHAT

Volunteers work together to run the Forum’s annual meeting – making sure that all participants are well taken care of and that all activities run smoothly. Tasks include, but are not limited to: greeting participants in registration, video recording and monitoring Forum sessions, praying with and for participants, and working in the Forum bookstore.

WHEN

The 2023 Forum is planned for May 20 - 25. American volunteers depart for Poland on Tuesday, May 16, and arrive on Wednesday, May 17. Volunteers from the UK will leave home and arrive in Poland on Wednesday. You’ll return home on Saturday, May 27, after a day and a half in Krakow, where you'll have a chance to experience and better understand the culture in which you're serving.

WHERE

The Forum is held in Wisła (pronounced “VEES-wah”), a lovely resort town located in the mountainous southwest corner of Poland, near the borders of the Czech Republic and Slovakia. All participants and volunteers stay at Hotel Gołębiewski for the duration of the Forum. All volunteers stay at Galaxy Hotel during Krakow volunteer days.

A note about contribution rates:
Since we began in 2003, we have worked hard to keep our rates as low as possible so that volunteering at the Forum is accessible to as many people as possible. For almost a decade we kept our rates the same. Unfortunately, due to global inflation and significant price increases from the hotel in Wisla, we have had to increase the contribution rate for the 2023 ELF to offset costs. We are still committed to keeping volunteering at the Forum as affordable as possible. For this reason, we have not passed on our full price increases to you.
