I went to church with my family starting when I was four years old. I liked the atmosphere of the church. I was part of children's ministries and youth groups, and when I was in secondary school, at the age of 15, I gave my life to Jesus and have never looked back since.
We were at a YMCA youth leader training week at my school, and the possibility of knowing Jesus personally was an absolute joy to me. So I dedicated my life to loving and serving Him. Now, I want to give back to the community I am part of by serving more intentionally. That's why I applied to this program to have a great foundation and to refresh the joy of giving through this mentoring group. I hope that we will be able to encourage each other in the group, gain experience in Christian leadership through the experiences of others, and be encouraged to take risks and celebrate successes. I want to experience a good community where I am a contributor, not only a taker. I am sure that studying the Bible together would also make a difference in our personal lives. I look forward to getting to know others in this ministry and would like to be able to share our experiences, successes, and challenges. I am also looking forward to the friendships we will be able to establish by doing a course together.
I am passionate about helping others in their journey with Christ. With my friend, I would like to start a new Bible study group, and there might be an opportunity to work with university students in an international environment.
I work at a university as an administrator. In addition, I teach English to children and am part of our church's women's Bible study group. I work as a part of a team at my work, and I am responsible for admissions of international students at the University.
I long to grow and be of use in the Kingdom to reach others who don't know Christ or to help them grow.
