As I was raised in a Christian family, I had the pleasure of knowing God from a young age. My original decision to trust in the Lord was made during primary school and has become more and more solid over time.
When I was in middle school, I figured out I needed to make a deliberate decision and be baptised. The most challenging period was in my early adulthood. It is a time when you are learning your way as a member of the Church, as His child living in the world, and growing skills that can be used in various ways, including at work. It's when you need to remember that you serve with people who were created in God's image, but they're still people and can make mistakes that sometimes affect you. That's a hard lesson in humility, but also a reminder that it is God who needs to be at the centre, and that we should nurture our relationship with Him so we can help others.
Hopefully, it will be a time when I can worship with others and study together, learning more and more from the Bible from different leaders and their experiences.
Currently, I focus mainly on worship ministry and lead the church in worship on some Sundays (also preparing the songs and helping the team before the service). I try to encourage and support younger band members. I'm also involved in conferences for women, which are held annually at our church. During those conferences, I am responsible for sound systems, displaying texts and presentations, and sometimes even appearing as a presenter or singer, depending on the needs.
When I was part of a youth group, I served as a worship leader with a friend for several years and was a Sunday School teacher for almost eight years.
I would like to take advantage of the Forum to listen to lectures and meet people who are committed to serving God and others with different experiences and knowledge that will help us grow.
