Verena Krakovsky

Verena Krakovsky is a teacher, women's Bible study leader, and church planter in Austria.
I grew up in a family that was in ministry and learned Scripture from my earliest days. Despite a bumpy time in my early 20s, my faith is centered around the Word of God as living truth.
I hope to gain support in my leadership role by receiving guidance, encouragement, and knowledge from others. I also seek meaningful connections with other Christians in similar positions, as shared experiences can help with mutual growth. Most importantly, I want to grow closer to God and deepen my understanding of His Word, strengthen my prayer life, and discover Him more while studying together. Being part of this group will help me better understand the dynamics of leading Bible study groups in practical ways.
I am a teacher and coordinate a program called CAS in the International Christian School of Vienna, where I try to help our students connect with local churches. I teach psychology with a focus on biblical integration and have the privilege to bring Jesus into the classroom. I have also been part of a team that planted Crossroads International Church in Vienna, Austria, where I lead a women's Bible study. The women are from different backgrounds, as it is an international church. Some of the challenges are the diversity of the theological background of the women as well as their maturity in faith. That's why I found the manuscript study to be such an interesting tool to delve into, because I think that it is very accessible to all stages of maturity in the walk with Jesus.
