Vasyl Topolyuk is a small group leader and youth worker in Ukraine while working as a sales and marketing manager.

When did you trust Christ?

At the age of 13, I experienced some severe health issues. My mother brought me to the best clinic in Kyiv, and the doctors said they had no medicine for this particular disease. I realised that my only hope was God and that no one else could help me. My entire church was praying for me, and I also prayed because I wanted to live. I can say that God healed me, and I give all the glory to Him!

What have been the defining moments of your Christian walk?

I have worked in various roles and pursued opportunities to study at Bible institutions, deepening my understanding of Scripture. This journey inspired me to serve in ministry, helping with youth and teenage groups and leading a home group. These experiences strengthened my faith and allowed me to share God’s love with others, fulfilling His calling for my life.

What do you hope to gain from participating?

This YRM would create connections with a community of driven individuals, fostering opportunities for collaboration, shared learning, and mutual support. These relationships could spark innovative projects or initiatives. Through interactions with mentors and peers, I would gain a better understanding of trends, technologies, and strategies shaping the marketplace. This could include topics like ethical leadership, adaptability, and fostering inclusivity. Being part of the YRM program would help refine my leadership approach, improve my problem-solving skills, and challenge me to think in new and creative ways.

What is your ministry?

In my ministry within a small Bible study group, I focus on creating a welcoming environment where members feel comfortable exploring their faith and growing in their understanding of Scripture. I guide discussions, encouraging deep reflection and helping participants connect biblical teachings to their daily lives. My role also fosters a sense of community, ensuring that each person feels valued and supported as we journey together in our spiritual growth.

What is your leadership role or what were your past leadership roles?

Currently, I am a manager in a multi-media installation company. One of my past roles was mentoring at a summer camp for orphans. We had a great time working with the kids, teaching them about the Bible and many other things. As the Servant of Grace Community Church, my leadership role encompasses a variety of responsibilities aimed at fostering spiritual growth, community engagement, and organisational development.

Why should someone invest in your ministry?

I want to evaluate my potential and desire for continued ministry. I want to prepare to work in a youth ministry with young people. I want to learn about the methodology of investing in youth. I want to experience what it takes to serve Christ in youth outreach effectively. I want to learn how to work with troubled youth and build one-on-one relationships.
