Vasi Bora serves with a digital ministry, reaching youth in Albania.

When did you trust Christ?

When I was at university, at a Christian meeting I was invited to by some Christian girls I knew, I heard a verse from the Bible: Jesus forgives our sins and does not remember them. These words touched me deeply and helped me realize that Jesus accepted me as I was and would forgive my sins. At that moment, I decided to invite Jesus into my life and make Him my True and Faithful Friend, beginning a personal relationship with Him.

What have been the defining moments of your Christian walk?

Being part of a Christian community and church since my student years has encouraged and inspired me. Reading and studying the Bible has given me direction and understanding. Discipling and mentoring relationships have played a key role in my spiritual growth. Experiences in full-time ministry, trainings, conferences, mission trips, and above all, the people I have had the opportunity to serve, have deepened my faith and helped me know God more. Through them, God has challenged me and taught me many things.

What do you hope to gain from participating?

Attending the European Leadership Forum will benefit my ministry by providing new insights, training, and practical strategies that I can apply in both my online and youth ministry work. It will also give me the opportunity to learn from experienced leaders and mentors, helping me grow personally and spiritually as I guide and disciple others.

What is your ministry?

My current ministry is focused 50% online and 50% offline. Together with my team, our goal is to reach Albanians with the Gospel through digital strategies, using various platforms such as websites and social media. I also serve in the youth ministry at my church, and along with a colleague, I lead a small Bible study group.

What is your leadership role or what were your past leadership roles?

I have led small Bible study groups with students, teenagers, and young professionals, helping them to know God and grow spiritually. I have trained and mentored missionaries and volunteers, helping them develop leadership skills and prepare for active ministry. Together with a colleague, we led a team of 10 people for five years, and we initiated and built a student ministry as well as planted a church.

Why should someone invest in your ministry?

Individuals may want to invest in my training and ministry because of the tangible impact it has on young people and communities. Although Albania is a country where 70% of the population is Muslim, God has opened doors for the Gospel, and through my ministry, I have the opportunity to reach people with the message of Christ. Investing in this ministry helps support these efforts and multiply the impact of sharing the Gospel in a challenging context.
