Timur Tricolici

Timur Tricolici is a camp program director and spiritual counsellor for men in Moldova.
My first encounter with Jesus was at the age of 7 years old in Sunday School. When I was 15, on 8 March 2013, I decided not only to repent but also to follow Jesus.
One of the biggest influences in my walk with Jesus is my dad, who is always inspiring me to do as much as I can for the Lord. Other defining moments have been my spiritual journey with my mentors, studying at a Christian university, and the Holy Spirit's care throughout these years.
I think this will enable me to be ready for more situations in ministry. The Forum will encourage me in my ministerial call by inspiring and equipping me for further development in God's work. Currently, I am studying for a Master of Divinity Degree. I am hoping that the Forum will give me an opportunity to meet people who have defended their PhD and meet and learn from people who have been in Christian leadership for many years. I am also looking forward to learning more about God, His character, and His awesome ways of ministry.
My ministry is Camp 'Hope' with the Eurasian Baptist Mission in Moldova. Right now I am preparing for a trip to Malawi to teach basic doctrines to young pastors. During the year, I teach leadership and small groups including a small group for men. During the summer, I serve as a camp program director leading evangelical camps with God's help.
I have been a youth leader in my church for years, first as a team member and then as a leader of the team. I currently assist our youth pastor. At my university, I have been an RA responsible for the Christian ethics in the halls. I have been an administrator of the culinary business 'Open Gate Kitchen', and I have also been an administrator of the Christian centre for youth 'Life On Purpose'. I am a camp program director, which includes recruiting and leading the team during the summer.
For several years, I have been in full-time ministry where I depend on the financial help of other people. I do not have the funds to attend the Forum. Investing in my training might change the many people I encounter every year. I pursue the commandment of the Great Commission and believe attending the Forum will help me learn how to spread God's Word better. I also hope that God will give me a powerful vision for my ministry during the Forum.
