Sverre Holm

Sverre Holm is a professor emeritus of physics at the University of Oslo, where he has been a professor since 1995. He has mainly worked with medical ultrasound imaging and wave propagation and is a member of the Norwegian Academy of Technical Sciences (NTVA). He is on the panel for the popular science program Abel's Tower on national radio, where he has appeared about once a semester for a decade. He has written the book "The Imagined Conflict. On Science and God" (2021) which is soon to appear in English, and coauthored "Science with Overtones. 21 Scientists and Their Faith in God" (2025) in Norwegian.
