Simon Diercks

Simon Diercks is both a pastor and a nerd and is passionate about empowering digital missionaries worldwide and developing digital ways of mission. He has worked for 20 years in IT and was a pastor of a local church for eight years. For eight years now, he has been working with the German mission agency Allianz-Mission, leading the Unit Relations and kickstarting the Regional Unit Digital since 2023. There, he is responsible for digital evangelists, digital church planting and mission, and AI. He is leading the Outpost Europe for two global networks, “The Church Digital” and “Indigitous”, and is strongly involved with the Lausanne Movement Germany. In 2024, he hosted the “European Digital Missionary Summit” by The Church Digital and is leading "Equipping Digital Missionaries" cohorts with participants from across Europe. Simon is married to Kerstin, and they have two children aged 9 and 14 years.
