Silas Rosenkvist Krohn
Silas Rosenkvist Krohn is a pastor-in-training and youth ministry leader in Denmark.
I became a Christian at the age of 16 after a life of being very closed to the idea of Christianity being true. God sent some followers of Christ into my life, and I started attending church, where I came to know the Lord.
My wife's father was my first pastor, and he has been a great inspiration. Throughout my Christian walk, I have studied theology, knowing that theology is of great importance.
I learned about the Forum from senior students at Dansk Bibel-Institute. It will most definitely benefit my future ministry when I become a pastor. I hope to gain inspiration, networking, and mentoring. Additionally, I hope to bring home useful material about Christian leadership. It will perhaps also benefit me in my current obligations as a board member and a part-time teacher.
I am now studying theology to become a pastor and teaching part-time. I am also a board member in one of the youth groups inside the Lutheran Mission in Denmark. I help oversee the direction our group is going, and I also monitor whether or not the theological material we use is biblically sound.
I was a full-time teacher at a Christian boarding school for young adults with special needs.
I am a theology student with a heart for Jesus Christ and what he has done for all people in this world. I would benefit largely from an opportunity like the Forum to learn, prepare, and network. I want to be a beacon of evangelical Christendom in the Danish state church, where sadly few pastors even believe in the empty tomb. I want to be a part of seeing the hearts of Danes touched by pastors who preach Christ.
