Shkelzen Halilaj is a church planter in North Macedonia.
When did you trust Christ?
I started following Christ in 2002. My pastor shared the Gospel with me, and I believed in Jesus and began my relationship with Him.
What have been the defining moments of your Christian walk?
My pastor and my local church have had a great influence on my walk with Christ. I was in a Bible Training school in Tirana, Albania, for two years, quite a long time ago. Also, the Bible and Christian Literature have shaped my life in Christ. I have been church planting among Albanians in North Macedonia for over a decade.
What do you hope to gain from participating?
I miss Christian fellowship, feeding on the Scripture, and building new relationships. I hope to gain this from participating in the Forum.
What is your ministry?
Currently, I am planting a church in an unreached city in North Macedonia. I also lead work at a local Community Centre where we meet people, build relationships, and share the Gospel.
What is your leadership role or what were your past leadership roles?
I have twice helped lead the local church while my pastor was on his sabbatical. I have also led Bible studies, kids' Bible school, and led worship.
Why should someone invest in your ministry?
I'm serving in a hard context where the work is slow to human eyes, so this kind of training is important for me to refresh and be encouraged to keep the work going
