Samuil Petrovski leads EUS / IFES / InterVarsity in Serbia.

When did you trust Christ?

I grew up in a Communist family and became a Christian when I was 18. I was at a summer church camp when I realised that there is a God and that I am a sinner; I knew that I needed to repent and believe in Jesus as God and Saviour.

What have been the defining moments of your Christian walk?

A crucial time for me was when I was serving in the army in Montenegro. I was the fourth believer to join the first-ever church plant there. The influence of a local IFES / InterVarsity student group was also very important in my growth.

What do you hope to gain from participating?

I look forward to learning new things, broadening my knowledge of Scripture, building networks, and getting the encouragement and resources I need in my ministry. I previously attended the Forum, but it has been many years. I want to refresh, learn, and see how we can organise a regional forum.

What is your ministry?

I lead the student ministry EUS / IFES / InterVarsity in Serbia. I am a volunteer pastor in our church, and I am also the volunteer president of the Serbian Evangelical Alliance.

What is your leadership role or what were your past leadership roles?

I have served in pastoral roles and in EUS / IFES / InterVarsity.

Why should someone invest in your ministry?

The EUS / IFES / InterVarsity ministry is important for the future of our churches, country, and region. As a leader of EUS and someone who invests in the lives of others in Serbia and Montenegro, I need investment and refreshment. Our ministry needs good partnerships with good Evangelical organisations and churches as well.
