Patricia Nagy is the office manager for Compass Europe, which works to multiply disciples across Europe.
When did you trust Christ?
I grew up in a Christian family, so I was introduced to church and the Bible from a young age. I was actively involved in church life and participated in several mission activities, which helped me gain a deeper understanding of God and the importance of serving others. However, it wasn’t until the 8th grade that I made a personal decision to follow Jesus and fully put my trust in Him. That moment marked a real turning point in my faith. Since then, my relationship with God has continued to grow. He is still working in me every day, shaping my heart and guiding my path.
What do you hope to gain from participating?
I hope to learn how to plan and lead Christian events with excellence and purpose. As I begin this new journey, I want to grow in practical skills like organisation, communication, and time management. I also hope to gain wisdom and advice from others who have more experience in this area. Learning from their stories and guidance will help me feel more confident and prepared in my role. I’m also excited to connect with other leaders, build relationships, and be encouraged through shared experiences. I believe this journey will help me serve better and make a lasting impact through events.
What is your ministry?
I am the new Office Manager at Compass Europe. My primary responsibility is to organise operational activities, ensuring the smooth execution of various internal meetings and events. In the future, I will also be in charge of organizing the Compass annual conference, along with other internal gatherings. This includes planning the schedule, coordinating with speakers and teams, managing logistics, and overseeing all the details to ensure everything runs smoothly. Although I am still new to this role, I am excited to grow, learn, and develop the skills needed to lead these events effectively. I see this as a valuable opportunity to serve others, support our mission, and create meaningful events that inspire and equip our community to grow in faith. I am interested in event planning because I will need these skills in my new job. I want to learn how to plan events in an organised and professional way so I can serve well in my role and help our team succeed.
