When did you trust Christ?

I was converted on April 18, 1971. It was Easter. The Lord’s Spirit touched my heart during the sermon, and I accepted the risen Lord Jesus Christ as my personal Savior. This was a radical change and a great experience.

What have been the defining moments of your Christian walk?

I have had many experiences in my Christian walk. I was immediately involved in Christian ministry- typing and translating Christian books and smuggling Bibles from 1972 - 1989, during the fall of the Communist regime. It was a great joy to serve. Because I was a Christian, I was not allowed to attend university first. Eventually, I could attend and graduate, but I was not allowed to practice what I was qualified for. So there were restrictions, but this, too, was a joy. I served as an assistant pastor for 16 years, then I was ordained senior pastor of the Baptist church in Sofia.

What do you hope to gain from participating?

I am convinced the Forum plays a key role for Europe and European Christian leaders. The Forum is helping church leaders and parachurch leaders to be equipped and challenged and to work together better to develop their projects for the future of Europe. The Forum provides an excellent opportunity for networking, sharing, getting in touch with European Christian leaders, listening to amazing Bible speakers and teachers, gaining access to Christian material and resources, and training young leaders. I also look forward to meeting many friends and introducing the Entrust 4 ministry at ELF.

What is your ministry?

I am the Ambassador of WEA to the Patriarch in Constantinople/Istanbul. I am the Ministry Ambassador for Entrust 4. I also serve as the Chairman of Peace and Reconciliation Network.

What is your leadership role or what were your past leadership roles?

I was the president of the European Evangelical Alliance, and I co-founded the Bulgarian Biblical Academy, which merged into the Bulgarian Evangelical Theological Institute. I was also one of the founders of the Bulgarian Biblical Academy “Logos” (now United Theological Faculty) and served as Executive Director until 2006. Most of my life has been spent leadership development of Christian leaders and multiplying churches. In the last 20 years, I have established training systems in the Balkans and the Middle East.

Why should someone invest in your ministry?

I hold many influential leadership roles in Bulgaria and have been involved in ministry for over 50 years. I have the vision to take the Gospel throughout Bulgaria, the Balkans, and beyond. In addition, I am committed to reaching the Muslim world for Christ. Over the last six years, I have frequently been traveling to Iraq to train new emerging church leaders.
