Milos Masarik

Miloš Masarik is a pastor in Slovakia.
I was 16 years old when I heard a sermon at our church about God’s mercy. It was not particularly special, but God was present, and the Holy Spirit opened my eyes and heart so that I realised what my life should be about. I realised what God’s love means and what it means that I should love Him. I attended church from my childhood and always maintained Christian moral standards, but I finally realised, thanks to God, what His love is.
My parents developed my faith through their example during childhood. Their Christian model was continuous during my adolescence and into the present. When I was seven or eight years old, I had a critical discussion with my father, during which I realised what sin was. When I was 16 years old, I understood and accepted the love and mercy of my Lord. I was baptised at 17, and at 19, I started studying evangelical theology and missions at university.
The Forum has helped me with my academic development. While I was studying for my PhD, the Forum influenced me tremendously. My long-term goal of academic research is to implement the Gospel in the daily economic life of people in Slovakia. There is no tradition to follow. Attending the Forum has helped me develop in this area.
I am the full-time pastor of a local Baptist church in Ruzomberok. The Union of Baptist Churches also tasked me with spiritual care for our union's theology students. My wife and I have a small publishing house and e-shop with theological literature. I am a member of the board of a Slovak Christian summer festival called Campfest. I am also working to implement clinical pastoral training in Slovakia.
In the past, I have served as a pastor and a volunteer in university theological training.
You should invest in me so I can gain new knowledge, enhance my Christian ministry, and form my vision of using my studies for Christian ministry in Slovakia.
