Michaela Borošová is the director of an Evangelical special kindergarten in Slovakia.

When did you trust Christ?

I grew up in a Christian family and surrendered my life to Jesus at the age of 13 during a summer camp organised by our church. Since then, I have been committed to sharing the love that Jesus demonstrated on the cross and the eternal life He offers by discipling my peers and helping others grow in faith.

What have been the defining moments of your Christian walk?

During university, I joined a church-planting team and attended a Christian school in the United States, which further deepened my understanding of leadership, ministry, and cross-cultural Christian fellowship.

What do you hope to gain from participating?

I learned about ELF from several people in different fields who had attended ELF before and highly recommended it to me. Attending ELF would allow me to connect with other believers serving in leadership roles in education, a unique opportunity for encouragement and learning. Leadership and ministry in this field can be very demanding and high-pressure, and I sometimes face spiritual challenges. I deeply desire to experience encouragement, inspiration, and practical insights on how to faithfully share the Gospel and lead effectively in this environment. I believe the conference will equip me to return to my school, team, and church with renewed vision and strengthened faith.

What is your ministry?

I am the director of an Evangelical special kindergarten, leading programs and a team to care for children with special needs and their families. For the past several years, I have been serving in both my professional work and ministry, striving to share the Gospel with children, parents, and colleagues. Within my local congregation, I am actively involved in youth and women's ministry and serve as a deacon, seeking to encourage and equip others in their faith journey. I have experience preaching at conferences, leading workshops, and mentoring discipleship groups. Through these roles, I have developed skills in teaching, mentoring, and team leadership. All my work is rooted in my commitment to serve faithfully and share the love of Jesus in every context.

What is your leadership role or what were your past leadership roles?

I have extensive leadership and ministry experience. I serve as a Sunday school teacher and leader of youth groups, and I lead activities at Christian camps. I have led workshops and thematic sessions at conferences and mentored small discipleship groups. Through these experiences, and my current ministry, I have developed skills in mentoring, teaching, team leadership, and community building, all rooted in my desire to serve faithfully and share the love of Jesus in every context.

Why should someone invest in your ministry?

As the director of a small special Evangelical kindergarten, it would be difficult to cover the full cost of the conference, including registration, travel, and accommodation. I lead one of only two Christian special kindergartens in Slovakia. Everything I learn at ELF can be shared with my school, church, colleagues, and community, multiplying the benefits of this opportunity far beyond myself. Working in education and ministry can be very demanding, and I sometimes face spiritual challenges; attending ELF will provide inspiration and renewal to strengthen my service in Slovakia. Additionally, connecting with believers in leadership roles from around the world will provide new insights and practical ideas that I can apply in Slovak education and church ministry.
