Mariana Ciorcila is the founder of a property business in England, seeking to build a church in west London.

When did you trust Christ?

I was 17 years old when I made the most important decision of my life—to follow Jesus and become a born-again Christian. It was during a time when I was searching for meaning and direction, and I encountered the truth of the Gospel in a way that deeply touched my heart. I realised that Jesus wasn’t just a figure in history, but a living Saviour who loved me personally and offered me a new life. Since that moment, I have followed Him wholeheartedly. My faith has shaped every area of my life—my values, my decisions, and even my business. While the journey hasn’t always been easy, Jesus has remained my constant guide, source of strength, and reason for hope.

What have been the defining moments of your Christian walk?

My Christian walk was impacted by seeing others come to faith after sharing the Gospel with them, overcoming obstacles and temptations, and meeting amazing people of God who helped shape my faith.

What do you hope to gain from participating?

I hope to gain far more than just business knowledge—I’m looking to become part of a vibrant community of like-minded individuals who are passionate about purpose-driven entrepreneurship. I value the opportunity to connect with people who are willing to support, challenge, and inspire one another in their respective journeys. Being surrounded by mentors and peers who openly share their experience and expertise will be invaluable for my personal and professional growth. I look forward to learning from real-world successes and setbacks, gaining insights that I can apply directly to my business, and developing as a leader who not only builds a strong company but also gives back meaningfully. This kind of intentional, ongoing support is what I believe will help me sharpen my vision, overcome challenges, and build with long-term impact in mind.

What is your ministry?

I run a property business in the UK, investing in London. As Director, I lead on strategic planning, negotiations, operational management, and overall direction of the business. My role involves shaping the company’s vision, building key relationships with our partners, and ensuring our activities remain both commercially effective and aligned with our values .I founded my company in 2021 with a clear mission: to build a sustainable business that would contribute financially to the construction of a place of worship for a Baptist church in west London.

What is your leadership role or what were your past leadership roles?

In Romania, I worked for Christian organisations. I was a Christian journalist leading a local newspaper. Then I led the marketing department for RVE (Radio Voice of the Gospel) and a video production company. My final role before moving to the UK was Managing Director for CredoTV. Since I moved to the UK, I started a property business to raise funds for building a church in the UK and one in the Romanian countryside.

Why should someone invest in your ministry?

Investing in my ministry supports the expansion of God's Kingdom. By investing, they’re directly contributing to life change and spiritual growth—evangelism and the advancement of the Gospel. Those who invest in my ministry become partners in spreading the message of Jesus, helping others encounter the truth of the Gospel. It's an investment in eternity, helping to establish a lasting legacy.
