Magdalena Wojciechowska is a passionate leader with Steiger proclaiming the Gospel is her community and beyond.
When did you trust Christ?
When I was around 9 years old, I was at a Christian camp, and during worship, I experienced the presence of the Holy Spirit. I knew I needed to repent and submit to Jesus. From that moment on, I started living with God. Later, as a teenager, I was reassured that it wasn't just a childish decision, but I really wanted to follow Jesus with my whole life.
What have been the defining moments of your Christian walk?
Attending Steiger Mission School was definitely a very impactful time—I understood that I wanted to answer God's calling to be a missionary and preach the Gospel. Another moment would be moving to Wroclaw and living in a community house there with friends who really challenge me to pursue God on a daily basis.
What do you hope to gain from participating?
I have heard that, it may help me understand how to grow in my ministry, how to communicate to others what I do, but foremost, grow in my maturity in Christ and my understanding of God's Word and character. I also think it will be very inspiring to meet other believers who are involved in ministry, I think I may learn a lot of practical things from them.
What is your ministry?
I lead a community house in Wroclaw where we organise different events for non-believers and lead people in discipleship. I also co-organise worship and prayer events in different churches here in Wroclaw where, together with Steiger, I mobilise other believers to preach the Gospel. I regularly preach the Gospel on the streets of Wroclaw (and in other cities in Poland and abroad too). I also do some graphic design, create presentations, and do copywriting for Steiger. In my local church, I serve on the welcome team and help with presenting slides.
What is your leadership role or what were your past leadership roles?
I used to be a worship leader and a youth group leader at a church in Warsaw. Before that, in a church in Lublin, I taught Sunday School. I also helped lead some short-term mission trips around Poland as a teenager.
Why should someone invest in your ministry?
I believe that God called me to ministry and I want to obey Him. I can see so many young, broken people around me, and I know they need to hear about Jesus. I'm willing to serve them with my time and resources, but I believe that I'm a part of the body of Christ, so I don't want to do it alone. I definitely need other believers—their encouragement, advice, and financial assistance.
