Liz Marvel

Liz Marvel (Ph.D., Baylor University, M.A., Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary) serves as the Chief Mission Officer at Global Action, where she oversees programming as well as educational partnership development. She also lectures in history at Baylor University and Truett Seminary in Waco, TX. Her research areas include the medieval church, women’s history, and global Christianity. She is currently revising her dissertation, Precarity and Pastoral Care: Nuns and Bishops in the Fifteenth-Century Dioceses of Lincoln, for publication.
