Lidia Nowakowska
Lidia Nowakowska is the President of the Women's Forum Association in Poland.
I accepted Jesus Christ as my Saviour at a young age, at a Christian camp, which laid the foundation for a lifelong walk of faith. Growing up in a Christian environment helped shape my understanding of God, but over time, my faith became more personal and deeply rooted.
A defining influence in my Christian walk has been my marriage to a man who later became a pastor and the shared calling to serve the Church. Walking alongside my husband in ministry has challenged me to grow in spiritual maturity, humility, and dependence on God, especially in seasons that required sacrifice and perseverance. Additionally, our work in evangelistic mission has significantly shaped my faith. Serving in cross-cultural and ministry contexts deepened my understanding of God’s heart for people and strengthened my commitment to sharing the Gospel through both word and action. These experiences, along with the support of the Christian community, have been key moments in shaping and refining my faith.
I heard about the European Leadership Forum while attending the Christian Scholars Network in the UK earlier this year. I expect the European Leadership Forum to be a time of encouragement and equipping that will renew my vision and strengthen my calling, enabling me to serve more faithfully and fruitfully in the roles God has entrusted to me.
I am the President of the Women's Forum Association, an organisation focused on supporting and empowering women. In this capacity, I led program development to foster spiritual, emotional, and personal growth among women. In addition, I have served as a worship leader, leading congregational worship and working with the worship team. This role strengthened my ability to lead with sensitivity, humility, and spiritual discernment, while encouraging meaningful participation in worship. Finally, as the wife of a pastor, I actively participate in the local church's leadership life through ministry support, mentoring, and service. This role has shaped my leadership through partnership, servant leadership, and a deep understanding of pastoral ministry and church community life.
I have served in several leadership roles within Christian ministry and non-profit work. I previously held the position of director of an evangelistic mission (together with my husband), where we oversaw ministry initiatives, coordinated teams, and supported outreach efforts. This role required vision, organisational leadership, and effective collaboration with staff and volunteers.
Individuals may want to invest in my training and ministry because it is rooted in long-term faithfulness, practical leadership experience, and a clear commitment to serving the Church. My ministry is shaped by years of hands-on leadership in evangelistic work, women’s ministry, worship leadership, and nonprofit organisational leadership, allowing me to engage both spiritual and practical dimensions of ministry. Investment in my training will have a multiplying effect, as I am actively involved in equipping and mentoring others, particularly women, and supporting church leadership. The insights, skills, and spiritual formation I gain are intentionally shared within my ministry contexts, strengthening teams, leaders, and communities.
