Lekso Lobovi is a Project Manager with SKSK / IFES / InterVarsity and a Student Pastor at the Kutaisi Evangelical Faith Church in Georgia.

When did you trust Christ?

I decided to follow Christ when I was 20 years old, through SKSK/  IFES / InterVarsity groups.

What have been the defining moments of your Christian walk?

The care, time, and friendship of my Christian friends have been a big encouragement to me. So too has been involvement in SKSK / IFES / InterVarity and connection to the local church.

What do you hope to gain from participating?

I hope to learn more about Christian leadership through sessions and personal relationships with other leaders. I hope to share my experience and current situation in Georgia. I pray that this time will help us all build good friendships and partnerships.

What is your ministry?

I moved to Kutaisi, Georgia, seven years ago to start student ministry work. Now, I am leading Bible study groups for international and Georgian students. I also pastor a group of students and expats who attend the English service at the Kutaisi Evangelical Faith Church. I also serve part-time as a Project Manager with SKSK / IFES / InterVarsity in Georgia.

What is your leadership role or what were your past leadership roles?

I have previously served as a home church pastor in Georgia's capital, Tbilisi.

Why should someone invest in your ministry?

The role of pastor is new for me, and I want to grow in this area. New ideas and the advice of mature, experienced Christian leaders will be very helpful for me. We, as the student ministry, are open for partnership. I would like to share my knowledge with students and invite speakers for our projects, conferences, and camps.
